we now have a Defibrillator on site

A HUGE thank you to Gill and the kind community of Moreton for raising the money for a defib. The defib will be accessible to members of the public via an outside heated cabinet on Hoylake Road. We can't thank everyone enough for making this happen, hopefully we will never have to use it but if there is a need, then this piece of equipment can make a huge difference in saving a life. The defibrillator uses semi automatic operation; analysing the patient and instructing rescuers to administer a shock at the touch of a button. Zoll defibs provide audible and visual prompts for guidance throughout the defibrillation process. Helping those with minimum first aid training.
